CAR RENTAL PROGRAMS

Many of the nation's car rental companies are taking additional steps to protect their renters. As a valued travel partner, Hertz announced a robust policy that our customers can benefit from:

Around the world, Hertz has enhanced their cleaning methods at their locations and on their shuttle buses, including using approved disinfectant to regularly wipe down high-touch areas such as door handles, counters, kiosks and other hard surfaces.
Hertz has added more alcohol-based hand sanitizers and reminds their employees to take important hygiene steps, including frequent handwashing and staying home if ill.
For Hertz vehicles, they are reinforcing their rigorous cleaning process of priority areas such as door handles, steering wheel, dashboard, console, seats, etc.

Flexible Reservations

Hertz has waived young renter fees and lowered the renter age from 20 to 18 years old to help college students and young drivers returning home or needing transportation.
They added flexibility for prepaid reservations, including waiving cancellation and change fees for travel restricted areas. Additionally, all prepaid reservations booked prior to March 13 can now be extended toward reservations used within 24 months with no fees. Customers still have the option to cancel with applicable fees. Prepaid rental reservations booked directly through Hertz.com may be extended at View/Modify/Cancel. Customers who booked through third-parties are encouraged to contact that party directly.

Additionally, Hertz rental rates are competitive with both published and corporate discount programs offered by Partners Travel.

Hotel Cleanliness and Safety During COVID-19 Pandemic

Hotels are not immune to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although all hotels are taking every precaution to ensure guests are safe during this time, there have been some hotel closures in major metropolitan markets.

During these uncertain times it will be difficult to navigate hotel closures. Hotels booked through Partners Travel will undergo much greater scrutiny. We will verify all hotel reservations the day prior to arrival so that our guests are confident with their reservations.
